Land Acknowledgement Statement

Pitaya Photography operates on the unceded ancestral lands of the Coast Miwok people and the Ramaytush people of what is presently known as Marin and San Francisco County.

We acknowledge the harm and suffering caused by settler-colonialism, which stole land, violated sovereignty and destroyed culture. We acknowledge the ongoing systemic harm to the indigenous cultures of what is now called North America.
